Wessex Go Tournament general scene

Bristol and Bath Go Clubs are pleased to announce that the 42nd Wessex Go Tournament will be held at:

St Mark's Community Centre
St Mark's Rd
Bath BA2 4PA

on Sunday 30th October 2011. As usual, this is the day that the clocks go back.

To get to Bath from the M4, leave at Exit 18 and follow the signs. Parking at the hall is limited to six or seven cars but since residential parking does not apply on Sunday there should be sufficient parking in nearby streets. Carlton Gardens, just above the hall is probably the best bet. There is a handy footpath starting at the end of the line of houses (easy to see in satellite view zoomed in).

Bath Train Station is a just a few minutes walk from the hall.

This is a three-round, even game McMahon competition, with 60 minutes each on the clock. Overtime will be 30 stones in the first 5 minutes and 60 stones in each subsequent 5 minute period. Prizes will be awarded to the players with the highest number of wins. The overall winner will receive the Wessex Trophy.
